Writing as someone who doesn't like to write! 😅
I hate writing, but I'm going to write anyway. Here's why.
I hate writing! 😬
It's painfully slow and tedious, and I find myself constantly editing and fact-checking to make sure it’s all “perfect” and my logic is sound. It’s frustrating!
But, even though I haven't been able to enjoy the process, I love the people that writing has connected me with. I've met some incredible people through publishing a newsletter—people I'd never meet otherwise.
I don't want to give that up. I want to connect with people who care about the same things as I do. I want to find my tribe, and I can't think of a better way to do that than writing on the internet. 💯
“Writing is the best kind of networking. By making it easy for people to find you online, you’ll create a vehicle for serendipity.”—David Perell
I want to keep writing. But, how?
By lowering the bar and allowing myself to write freely as if I were talking to a friend. I plan to start writing more personally, sharing the ups and downs of my journey as an online creator. There's no need to research or fact-check my own experience! 😊
I may not publish every week, I may send emails at random times, and I might go months without publishing anything at all, but I will continue to write for as long as I can and for as long as I continue meeting amazing people like you! 😍
Here we go…
Writing as someone who doesn't like to write! 😅
Great attitude!
I used to have the same issue - writing for me was a burden, but after doing what you're doing (writing even when I didn't want to), eventually I started to feel more comfortable with it. AI tools are also here to help you now :) you don't need to create everything via AI, but having that very first paragraph/draft to start with is super helpful.
